One of our more unusual locations was aboard the semisubmersible crane vessel S7000 which sailed from the North Sea, crossed the Atlantic and around the Mediterranean. We provided an instructor on board who taught technical English language training to crew as the vessel sailed.
Working with our local partner, LSI provided up to 30 instructors, an Academic Manager and full range of logistical support to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) for more than three years, introducing digital courseware and innovative language testing to their world-class training centre in Ahmadi.
Over a three-year period LSI provided instructors and academic support to the National Oil Company in Libya, working with BP and providing instructors at STC training centre in Zawiya and PTQI in Gargarish, Tripoli.  We were involved in the training of hundreds of young Libyans to develop the country’s workforce, and were instrumental in introducing a number of positive innovations.
Following our audit and review of training facilities and requirements at Sudanese Petroleum Corporation in 2009, LSI has since been providing native English speaking instructors, courseware support and course design for general and business communications skills courses in Khartoum and Port Sudan.
Working with TTE and Petrotekno in Puncak, LSI is providing technical English language instruction, courseware and academic management support to our clients’ highly innovative technicians’ training programmes.
